The Staff at Stonehenge ask that any persons carrying vouchers for Student and/or Senior concessions please also carry valid identification. This is to avoid any unnecessary embarrassment or misunderstanding if you are asked for proof on arrival.

How to Get There

By car:
2 miles W of Amesbury on junction of A303 and A344/A360

By train:
Salisbury 9½ miles. From London you need to depart from Waterloo Station. Trains run approximately every hour, the journey lasts about an hour and a half.

By bus:
Wilts & Dorset service 3 Salisbury station.

By coach:
Coaches run from Heathrow Airport and Victoria Coach Station in Central London. You will need to get off at Amesbury. From Amesbury you can either walk (about 2 miles away), catch a local bus, or get a taxi. Coaches run about 3 times a day and take about 2 hours to get there. You can buy tickets on the coach, at the coach station, or from ticket agents for National Express.
