Avalanche
The UKs only true bobsleigh ride. A unique rollercoaster guaranteed to thrill.
 
Bling
BLING is a real diamond- knuckle experience for riders as they are lifted a whopping 100 feet above the ground and spun through the air on giant glittering gondolas in three different directions at speeds of 60mph as the ride pulls 2.5gs.
 
Big Dipper
A traditional wooden rollercoaster where, World record rollercoaster marathon rider Richard Rodriguez rode the Big Dipper for an incredible three months non-stop, day and night!
 
Grand National
Europe's first twin-track racing coaster was constructed in 1935 and remains one of the most popular wooden rollercoasters in the world.
 
Ice Blast
The first of its kind in the UK, Ice Blast catapults riders vertically up a 210 foot tower at 80mph and thrusts them back again for an incredible hair raising free-fall descent.

Drench Falls

The tallest fastest rollercoaster in Europe. 235ft high and over one mile of twisting and turning at speeds of up to 87mph.
 
Rollercoaster
Another classic "Woodie". The rollercoaster gives you a velvety smooth ride as it takes you through steep drops, climbs and banked turns.
 
Space Invader 2
A rollercoaster with a difference. Fly through outer space in near total darkness.

Spin Doctor
The £1 million Spin Doctor at Blackpool Pleasure Beach consists of two rotating ‘propellors’ which spin riders 360 degrees through the air to heights of 120 feet at speeds of over 60 mph.
 
Steeplechase
You don't need to be a jockey to enjoy this horse race. Race against your friends on this 3-lane steel coaster ride.
 
Valhalla
For the 21st century the biggest and most spectacular water-borne dark ride in the world was designed and constructed at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Costing £15 million, Valhalla is a high speed thrilling ride with unique features, highly themed and incorporating a host of multi-sensory elements. Valhalla is the journey to the immortal resting place of Viking warriors souls combining elements of fire, water, snow and ice.

Wild Mouse
Not for the nervous! This hair raising ride deserves it's name. Down incredibly steep drops, up hills and whizzing round a seemingly endless array of bends. One of only three remaining traditional wooden Wild Mouse rides remaining in the world.

How to Get There
Pleasure Beach, Blackpool could not be easier to find:

By Road - take junction 32 off the M6 onto the M55. Follow signs for Blackpool, South Shore (via Blackpool Airport) and then follow the brown tourist signs to Blackpool Pleasure Beach®. There are over 1000 car parking spaces on site. Plenty of coach parking spaces available.

By Rail - regular train services run to Blackpool North or direct to Blackpool Pleasure Beach's® own mainline station via Preston. For National Rail Enquiries please telephone 08457 484950.

By Bus or Coach - Ring National Express on 08705 80 80 80.

Wheelchair Hire
There is a limited number of wheelchairs for hire at Ticket Sales North. A deposit will be required, plus a form of identification. Please contact a member of the Customer Services Department on 0871 222 1234 to check availability.
 
Assistance Animals
Assistance animals are permitted at Pleasure Beach provided they are leashed or in a harness at all times. However, the animals are not permitted on any of the rides and the animal must remain with a member of your party.
 
First Aid
Pleasure Beach, Blackpool has trained first aid personnel. Please contact any staff member if you require assistance.
 
Baby Changing Facilities
Situated at the Superloos opposite the Alice Ride, The Space Invader, Beaver Creek Children's Theme Park. All of the restaurants will be able to assist you with the warming of baby drinks or food if required.
 
Cheque Cashing/Bureau de Change
There is no longer a Bureau de Change. Euros can be used to purchase products.
 
Toilets
Situated at Balmoral Road car park. Superloos opposite the Alice Ride, Beaver Creek Children's Theme Park. The Space Invader Ride, Bowladrome, Burger King, Ocean Boulevard car park and within the Casino.
 
Cash Machines
Situated at both the North and South entrances to the park and Valhalla Ticket Box.
 
Public Telephones
Ticket Sales North & South, Rib Shack Cafe, Bourbon Street Restaurant, Ocean Boulevard Office, outside the Black Hole ride.
 
Left Luggage
Left luggage lockers are situated at Ticket Sales North, Beach Amusements, Arena, opposite the Big Dipper and Pepsi Max Big One.
Top Tips
Every theme park is different but here are some generic tips to help with your visit, whichever theme park you are going to:
 
  • Buy your tickets online before you go so you don’t have to worry about queuing when you get there!
  • Make sure you understand what your ticket includes before you book, as the tickets might have certain restrictions.
  • If you can, pick a good time of the year to travel: think about the weather, number of visitors, special events or firework nights.  
  • Get to the theme parks early to avoid too much overcrowding and queuing at the rides and water parks.
  • Try going on the most popular rides at lunch or later in the day, when everyone else has already been.
  • Try not to eat too many hot dogs before you go on the biggest ride of the park!
  • Bring snacks and drinks, this will help you save money when it’s a long day and you or your kids need refreshments.
  • Meeting point: always arrange one, as someone is bound to get lost if it’s a large park and it’s busy!
  • This is common sense, but remember to buy gifts and merchandise at the end of the day so you’re not carrying everything around with you.
  • Normally there are lockers too if you have any other items you want to get rid of at the beginning of the day.
