FROM THE KUMARS TO CAMELOT .....
SANJEEV BHASKAR CROWNED AS NEW KING OF THE BRITONS IN
MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT
BEFORE SHOW HEADS OFF ON ROYAL WALKABOUT

From Monday 23rd June 2008 the role of Arthur, the King of the Britons will be played by Sanjeev Bhaskar. Bhaskar is to join the cast of the multi award-winning record-breaking Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, to be crowned as the new Arthur, the King of the Britons, following in the footsteps of Tim Curry, Simon Russell Beale, Peter Davison and Alan Dale. Best known as the host of The Kumars at No. 42 and for his appearances in the award-winning radio and television sketch show Goodness Gracious Me.

Monty Python’s SPAMALOT is 100% pure entertainment. Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, SPAMALOT is the new musical directed by Oscar Winning Mike Nichols, with a book by the third tallest Python, Eric Idle, and an almost but not entirely new score by Eric Idle (no relation) and John du Prez. Retelling the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and featuring a number of gratuitously scantily clad showgirls, not to mention the cows, killer rabbits and French people.

SPAMALOT retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table with the help of a number of gratuitously scantily clad showgirls, cows, killer rabbits, French people and a legless knight.

Currently playing to packed houses at the Palace Theatre the award-winning and record-breaking Monty Python’s SPAMALOT is booking until 27th September 2008.

Monty Python's SPAMALOT has been hailed as:
