Jet Boat Thames Barrier Tour:
The Jet Boat tour to the Thames Barrier is totally unique, exciting and unlike anything else available on the water in London. Jet boats have incredible maneuverability, and to take advantage of this, we recommend this longer tour of 75 minutes so we can really put the boat through its paces in open water away from the crowded and slower tracts between the bridges of central London!

Rib Charter:
The twin engine petrol outboard Rigid Inflatable Boats carry up to 12 passengers in comfort. These vessels are custom built and have been in service throughout the world for many years. They have proven themselves to be ideally suited to operating on the River Thames.

Jet Boat Tour to Thames Barrier
“This is a fantastic early spring offer and great value providing an exciting circular ride on Flying Fish Tour’s 10 metre Jet Boat, based on the naval vessel designed for the Royal Marines.

The boat will take you at high speed from Blackfriars pier between Blackfriars Bridge and HMS President in the heart of central London, along what Sir Winston Churchill described as “that silver thread of British history” as far as the Thames Barrier, moving quickly away from the speed limits between the bridges. You will be transported in comfort through all the great events in British history to modern times and the new Millennium, and we will use such icons as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Royal Greenwich and the O2 Arena to bring the river alive for you, passing through the very jaws of Barrier itself! You will be entertained on the way by an informative and light-hearted guide to the sights that you pass on the trip, and be back to Blackfriars pier within about 75 minutes of departure. Flying Fish Tours provides waterproof and warm over-clothing to keep you warm and make your trip even more enjoyable."

The vessel is a thoroughbred, originally developed by the Royal Marines for use as an offshore raiding craft. With twin engines providing ample power and twin Rolls Royce Jet propulsion with an aluminium build, it is a revelation and experience the 'slingshot' and the 'dolphin' and the acceleration of the jet boat.
Converted for passenger use, it has comfortable seating for up to 20 people, resulting in a remarkable and unique vessel in the UK. This boat brings a whole new experience to the river and is a must on your list of things to do in London.

Skippers are commercially qualified with special jet boat training to take advantage of the unique attributes and fun factor in safety. This trip is totally unique and great fun. This introduction to the river is a unique experience in London at a great value price.
