Skipping the Queue
As well as free entry, the Paris Pass allows you to skip long and frustrating queues at the busiest tourist properties, including the Louvre, Panthéon, Arc de Triomphe, Musée d'Orsay, Centre Pompidou and many more properties**.
Simply show the attendant your Paris Pass and you will be allowed entrance.
** The no-wait rule can not always be guaranteed
Paris Pass & Paris Visite Card
The Paris Metro travel card included with your Paris Pass is the Paris Visite pass, which consists of a card and a seperate coupon.
As soon as you get your Paris Visite pass you should write your name on the card and the serial number of the card on the coupon, as well as the planned date of first use. The card and coupon must be kept together at all times and must be shown together in the case of inspection on the Paris Metro or other Paris transport system.
The Paris Visite pass is activated when you first use it and remains valid for the Paris Pass duration purchased, be it two, four or six days. It is important to note that a ‘day’ is based on a calendar day, so should you use your pass at 4pm on Monday, Monday is counted as day one of your pass usage.
Paris Pass & Paris Travel Zones
Your Paris Pass includes travel within zones 1-3, which covers the entire centre of Paris.
Most of the sights included on the Paris Pass can be reached using the Paris Metro system or by another public transport option: RER, bus, tramway, SNCF Transilien suburban trains, Montmartre funicular railway, Montmartrobus, Noctilien and Optile network buses are covered by your travel pass.
The Paris Metro is open from 05:20 until 01:20, so you are able to travel around the city at your leisure - even if you’re a night owl!

The Paris Pass is comprised of the Paris Pass card, the Paris Museum Pass and a voucher booklet which allows you free access to museums and monuments in and around Paris*.
It also comes with a Paris Metro pass, a Paris Metro map, a Paris map and extra vouchers for special offers at sightseeing locations, shops and restaurants.
* Not included on Child or Teen Pass as most museums and monuments in Paris are either free or discounted to those under 18
Activation of your Paris Pass
Your Paris Pass is activated the first time that you use it, but to begin using it you must first sign and date the Paris Pass, the Paris Museums and Monuments Pass and the Paris Visite Metro card.
In addition you must write the serial number of the Paris Visite card on the ticket that is passed through the ticket machine. The card and ticket must be kept together at all times and both must be shown in the case of inspection.
Validity of your Paris Pass
After activation your Paris Pass remains valid for the duration that you have purchased. It is valid on consecutive days and at the end of the validity period, will no longer entitle you to free entry at attractions or transport. If for example, you used a four day pass for the first time on Monday, your pass will cease working at the end of Thursday, regardless of how often you have used it in between.
It is important to note that a ‘day’ is based on a calendar day, so should you use your pass at 4pm on Monday, Monday is counted as day one of your pass usage.
Visiting Attractions
You may use your Paris Pass to visit as many attractions as you like within one day, however you may only visit each attraction once within that day. You may revisit most attractions on following days but the voucher elements within your Paris Pass, including the Bateaux Parisiens River Cruise and Open Top Bus Tour, can only be redeemed once.
Please note: that customers may visit each attraction only once, regardless of how many days the pass is valid for.
The Paris Museums and Monuments Pass does not permit access to temporary exhibitions or guided visits.
