Home to generations of George Washington's ancestors. Built in the 1500s with money made in the flourishing English wool trade, Sulgrave Manor is where it all began!  On our guided tour hear stories of how the Washington family lived.

Ensure you make time to wander round the delightful gardens, filled with the scent of the world-famous Sulgrave lavender and enjoy the elegant and carefully cultivated plants and bushes.

Time for lunch before we head off on a scenic drive via Banbury to Blenheim Palace.

Banbury  - find out what you would see if you rode a cockhorse to Banbury Cross!  The pleasant town of Banbury is on the edge of the Cotswolds.

Built in the early 1700s, Blenheim Palace is a masterpiece of English Baroque architecture designed by Sir John Vanbrugh.

You'll also have the opportunity to see the room where Churchill was born. We'll visit the grounds of Blenheim Palace with its lakes spanned by stone bridges, woodlands, follies and of course the Marlborough Maze, the world's largest hedge maze.
